GETTING READY

Medical, medical. Today, we simply took care of some of the medical ends that needed to be tied up. We have an appointment for Philip’s hepatitis B shot tomorrow. We took care of some pharmacy business. we spoke with our transplant coordinator and got information about the cardiac catheterization Monday. We don’t really know what the next step will be until after the procedure. We will then be back in touch with the coordinator and will learn more about the next step. It is all about a day at a time.

After several trips to Chapel Hill we have decided that the thing to do about packing our clothes is to pack up our clothes and leave them in the suitcase. This is almost like firemen who need to always be ready to leave the station. After we return to Charlotte, we need to do wash, and then pack our suitcases right back up. The issue is that the packing and unpacking is getting exhausting. We know that we will look the same every time we go to Chapel Hill; but frankly, they all wear white.
